What to expect
We work through your household bills with you: checking what you currently pay, comparing suitable deals and explaining your options. If you choose to change, we help complete the switch and set up your new service. All support is free, and you remain in control.
Before the appointment
We discuss which bills you want help with and arrange an appointment at home or in a community venue. We explain what information would be useful. Do not worry if you are unsure what you need — we can help you identify it. You can have a family member, friend, carer or support worker with you.
First visit: review and options
We check your current bills, contracts and household needs. Together, we use comparison websites and provider information to look for suitable deals. We explain prices, contract terms, any exit fees and what a change would involve. You decide whether to keep your current service or make a change.
Second visit: switching and setup
If you choose to change, we help with applications, online forms and provider calls to complete the switch. We also help with setup where needed, such as keeping your mobile number, activating a SIM, setting up a router and connecting your devices. We arrange the support around the timing of your change.
Preparing for your appointment
What to have ready
If available, have recent bills, contracts or statements for the services you want us to check. If your bills are online, have your phone, tablet or computer with you. Do not worry if you cannot find your bills, access your accounts or use email — tell us beforehand so we can discuss the help you need.
Your choice and protection
All our support is free. We receive no commission or referral fees. You decide whether to change anything, and savings are not guaranteed. You enter passwords and security codes yourself. We can show you where to enter them, but we do not ask you to disclose them or record them. Do not send or share passwords.
