Written passwords: what the NCSC says
The National Cyber Security Centre recognises that a written password book can suit some people, including those who regularly receive help managing their online accounts. Keep it securely and consider who could access it. Use strong, different passwords and check each service's terms — some online banking services prohibit writing passwords down. Take extra care to check that websites and login links are genuine.
The NCSC recommends passkeys where available and explains the benefits of password managers. It has not endorsed this booklet.
